Utilisez les guillemets pour chercher un mot spécifique. Par exemple: cent renvoie à tous les mots contenant cette occurrence (cents, centaine, centenaire) tandis que «cent» renvoie uniquement aux correspondances exactes.
Utilisez les guillemets pour chercher un groupe de mots spécifique. Par exemple: «la belgique indépendante».
Utilisez + pour rendre un mot obligatoire et - pour l’exclure. Par exemple: +marché -argent renvoie aux fragments de texte dans lesquels figure marché, mais pas argent.

Important à savoir: vos résultats de recherche
Lors de votre recherche, le système évalue la pertinence de vos résultats à votre place. Il affiche en tête de liste les résultats qu’il estime correspondre le plus à votre recherche. Vous pouvez modifier cet ordre (par exemple par date ou par ordre alphabétique) à l’aide du menu déroulant en haut à droite des résultats de recherche.
La reconnaissance optique de caractères (ROC) permet de rechercher du texte dans tous les journaux imprimés. La ROC convertit automatiquement les lettres imprimées en caractères numériques lisibles. Attention : vous verrez de temps en temps apparaître des symboles étranges dans vos résultats de recherche. En effet, la ROC a parfois des difficultés à bien reconnaître les caractères. Il arrive que des mots ne soient pas correctement reconnus. Lors de votre recherche, il est donc possible que vous obteniez des résultats différents de ceux escomptés.
Attention: Les textes manuscrits ne peuvent pas être lus par la ROC. Vous ne pourrez donc pas chercher du texte dedans.
