Verwenden Sie Anführungszeichen, um genau nach einem Wort zu suchen. Als Beispiel: Hund liefert auch Ergebnisse in denen Hund vorkommt (Hunde, hundert, geschunden) „Hund“ liefert die exakten Ergebnisse.
Verwenden Sie Anführungszeichen, um nach einer Wortgruppe zu suchen. Als Beispiel: „Vrije Stem“ oder „La Belgique Independante“.
Verwenden Sie + oder -, um ein Wort anzubinden oder auszuschließen. Als Beispiel: +Markt -silber sucht nach Textfragmenten in denen Markt vorkommt, silber jedoch nicht.

Das System macht fur Sie bei der Suchanfrage eine Einschätzung der Relevanz. Resultate die dem System zufolge am meisten mit der Suchanfrage übereinstimmen, werden als erste wiedergeben. Sie können diese Reihenfolge mit Hilfe des dropdown rechts oben über den Suchresultaten ändern (zum Beispiel nach Datum oder alphabetisch anordnen).
Dank der Optical Character Recognition (OCR) ist es möglich alle gedruckten Zeitungen zu durchsuchen. OCR sorgt für eine automatische Umsetzung gedruckter Buchstaben in eine digital lesbare Form. Aber Achtung: Manchmal können seltsame Zeichen in Ihren Suchergebnissen auftauchen. Das resultiert aus den Schwierigkeiten, die der OCR manchmal mit der Erkennung von manche Schriftzeichen hat. Es ist möglich dass die Wörter nicht korrekt erkannt werden. Es kann also sein, dass Sie andere Suchergebnisse als erwartet bekommen.
